1 dead, 2 others in hospital after late-night shooting in North York
2 people taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, serious injuries, paramedics said
One person is dead after a shooting in North York late Friday night, Toronto police say.
Officers responded to calls about a shooting around 11:08 p.m. Friday near Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue E., the Toronto Police Service said on social media.
Three people were located at the scene, with one person pronounced dead. Toronto paramedics said the two others were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact investigators.
