10 promising Dublin-based startups to watch
Dublin has long been one of Europe’s leading technology hubs, combining a deep pool of international talent with a growing community of locally founded startups. Alongside the multinational technology companies with major operations in the Irish capital, a new generation of founders is building companies across artificial intelligence, biotech, FinTech, EdTech, AgriTech and enterprise software.
As Ireland looks to help more of these companies scale internationally, access to growth-stage capital remains an important challenge. The Irish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association has proposed a fund-of-funds that could mobilise up to €1 billion in private institutional investment, inspired by Denmark’s model and designed to reduce startups’ reliance on overseas investors.
Against this backdrop, these Dublin-based companies offer a snapshot of the breadth and ambition of Ireland’s startup ecosystem. From employee benefits and financial operations to AI-powered tools for enterprise data, education, advertising and agriculture, they are tackling challenges with international relevance while building from an Irish base.
Here are 10 startups worth watching as they develop their products, expand into new markets and contribute to Dublin’s next generation of technology companies.
