3 injured, including child after vehicle drives through Stittsville bakery
Three people were injured after a vehicle drove through a bakery in Stittsville on Sunday afternoon.
Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps says first responders were called to the 5500 block of Hazeldean Road at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Deschamps says two women and a young child inside the business suffered minor injuries and did not require being transported to hospital.
The age of the child was not provided. The driver was not injured.
Police say the building was determined to be structurally sound by Ottawa firefighters.
When CTV News Ottawa arrived on scene, the vehicle had been towed but a large hole in the side of the building where the car drove through the glass remained.
No charges were announced by police but said an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
