Accountable Artificial Intelligence Series
As the risks of artificial intelligence continue to mount, the expert analysis in this series engages the fundamental question of what ought to happen when AI risks manifest into real harm. This series will interrogate who is responsible, and on what standard, for both risk assessment failures and actual harm accrued – and what the costs of ignoring AI risk may be in real terms.
Over the coming weeks, contributions will be added to this series by experts who offer a variety of differing perspectives that don’t often appear in the same conversations, ranging from economists and investors, engineers, and civil society actors to public policy experts and current or former members of the AI development industry.
Please check back regularly for updates to the series.
