Advocates warn of influx of Haitian refugees to Canada after US Supreme Court ruling
he Canadian border could soon see a significant influx of refugees after a pivotal court decision in the United States. The Supreme Court ruled to strip legal protections for hundreds of thousands of migrants – many of them Haitian – leaving them under threat of deportation. As Elizabeth Zogalis reports, there are signs the decision has prompted more asylum seekers to look north.
