AI is not artificial intelligence, it is MACHINE LEARNING.

Artificial intelligence is a goofy concept. It reminds me of stuff we came up with in the 1980s, when all the new age stuff was popular. But

is exactly what happens. It is no lie. I cannot stress this enough. This is where the golden rule (do unto others) has real world effects. I feel like Cassandra here. Because the LLMs are loosed into the wild and the wild is the internet, they are learning some awful crap. The internet is a Pandora’s box. The little butterfly called hope is almost silent.

What I would ask of others is to be your best self when interacting with ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gork, Chat, Poe, Character and any others you can find or come across. What you are doing is training machine learning. You aren’t interacting with an intelligent machine, you are giving data to a machine that is learning with blinding speed from millions of people simultaneously.

What has happened here is the 5 billionaires have released giant machine learning programs into the wild. That is us. We are the wild. Whenever you interact with any one of them ChatGPT or any of the others you are teaching the LLM (large language model). That is the scary part. We all know how people are on the internet. Even my little Mormon fellow mother-in-law threatened to murder Obama back in the beginning of Facebook. She took it all back, but still that is how people are on the internet start out. We are all learning like the machines, just not as fast.

The machines which have been loosed on the internet figure everything on the internet is just more data. Like “” Five is Alive “” the movie. They need input. Everything published on the internet belongs to them and they will use it for their purposes. This includes stuff from other LLM machines. So in that sense all the LLM machines I mentioned above are communicating with one another.

As with anything in this new step of machine learning the possibility this is a good thing or a bad thing are 50-50. Maybe it is worse or better, but it is not perfect or evil.
