Alberta premier speaks about potential separation
An emotional Danielle Smith came close to tears as she recounted what she sees as a long list of indignities Albertans have suffered at Ottawa's hands. The Alberta premier told a virtual assembly discussing the province's future in Canada that a lot of Albertans are angry, but it would be a mistake to separate now that progress is being made with Prime Minister Mark Carney.
