Arrest after man dies in car and tractor crash

A man has been arrested after a man died in a crash between a car and a tractor in Shropshire.

The crash happened on the A41 Newport bypass from the Pickmere roundabout at about 22:55 BST on Tuesday, West Mercia Police said.

A Porsche Taycan and a tractor towing a flatbed trailer crashed. The driver of the Porsche, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, the force said.
