The race to build AI products has created a new challenge for startups: getting those products into production without losing control of cloud spending.

While venture-backed companies continue investing heavily in artificial intelligence, many are discovering that success depends on far more than model development. Scaling AI applications requires sophisticated cloud architecture, operational expertise, and disciplined cost management, areas that can quickly become obstacles for lean teams focused on product innovation.

That opportunity is driving the latest expansion from Automat-it, an AWS Premier Partner and Managed Services Provider specializing in startups. The company has officially launched operations in the United States, supported by a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services valued at $1.4 billion over four years.

AI Adoption Is Creating New Infrastructure Demands

As organizations move beyond experimentation and begin deploying AI-powered applications at scale, infrastructure decisions are becoming increasingly consequential. Cloud costs can rise rapidly, while production environments require levels of reliability, security, and operational oversight that many startups are not equipped to manage on their own.

Automat-it is positioning itself at the intersection of those challenges.

The company provides cloud management, optimization, and operational services designed specifically for startups, helping organizations navigate everything from cloud migrations and compliance requirements to AI deployment and ongoing infrastructure management.

Its expansion into North America follows significant momentum across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, where the company reported 110% year-over-year growth in 2025.

The newly announced Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS serves as a foundation for the company's North American growth plans.

According to Automat-it, the agreement is designed to generate $1.4 billion in mutual business value over the next four years while giving customers greater access to AWS resources and scaling expertise.

The announcement also highlights the company's growing role within AWS's AI ecosystem. Automat-it became a launch partner for AWS' Agentic AI Services competency and was among the first partners selected for AWS's new Anthropic reseller agreement.

Those developments arrive as demand grows for technologies capable of automating complex workflows and supporting the next generation of AI-powered business operations.

Bringing A Startup-First Approach To The U.S.

Unlike many cloud service providers that focus broadly on enterprise organizations, Automat-it has built its business around startups.

The company currently works with more than 800 customers across industries, including fintech, healthcare, gaming, and ecommerce. Its services span cloud architecture, security, compliance, cost optimization, AI implementation, and 24/7 operational support.

"US Startups face pressure to innovate rapidly and launch AI products without letting cloud costs spiral out of control," said Ziv Kashtan, CEO of Automat-it. "This is the same challenge we have helped hundreds of fast-growth companies solve already by combining expert-led cloud consultancy with hands-on engineers that act as an extension of your core team.

"We are thrilled to formally bring our expertise in AI, DevOps, and FinOps to the US market alongside AWS to deliver rapid deployment, aggressive cost optimization, and production-grade AI in the biggest startup ecosystem in the world."

According to the company, U.S. customers will gain access to a team of more than 150 engineers specializing in DevOps, FinOps, cloud modernization, and agentic AI deployments.

Positioning For The Next Phase Of AI Growth

The expansion reflects a broader shift occurring across the startup landscape. As AI capabilities become more accessible, competitive advantage increasingly depends on execution, how efficiently organizations can deploy, manage, and optimize the infrastructure supporting those technologies.

Automat-it reports that cloud migration services have become a particularly strong area of demand, with migration-related annual recurring revenue growing 450% in 2025. The company says it has helped customers migrate infrastructure without downtime while also reducing cloud spending through cost optimization initiatives.

Automat-it enters the U.S. market with existing relationships, including a U.S.-based customer, Penlink, and partnerships with organizations with significant U.S. operations, such as Vanta.

The company plans to work with more than 100 U.S. startups during its first year in North America. As AI adoption accelerates and cloud environments grow more complex, that target may reflect a broader industry trend: startups increasingly seeking specialized expertise not only to build AI products but also to operate them efficiently at scale.
