B.C. fishing firm bragged of haul after sinking
A B.C. charter firm bragged on Chinese social media about its two boats making a big haul of fish two hours after one of the vessels sank, leaving one dead and six lost and feared drowned. The mother of the captain of the boat that went down, who is among the missing, wants to know how it's possible the charter operator aboard the other boat did not realize sooner that its sister vessel had sunk on June 28, 2026.
