B.C. was the ‘canary in the coal mine’ of forest fire impact in Canada: Premier Eby
Asked how he'll collaborate with other premiers on wildfire response at the Council of the Federation meeting next week, British Columbia Premier David Eby said his province has 'lots to bring to the table' to support other provinces. Eby said what Ontario and Eastern Canada are experiencing, 'British Columbia went through about five years ago,' and that it’s important to be 'aligned' with other leaders on wildfire response.
