Billy Bishop Airport expansion halted by federal government
On Friday, the federal government said it won't support plans to expand Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto. Transport Canada received more than 87,000 responses to its consultations on the airport, of which a majority opposed changes to the waterfront amid concerns of potential noise and environmental impacts.
