Calgary launches Climate Week after emergency declaration rescinded
It's officially wildfire and flood season in Alberta, an opportune moment for the first-ever Calgary Climate Week, running June 1-6, 2026. But as CBC's Jo Horwood reports, the event launches on the heels of city council's vote to rescind a climate emergency declared in 2021.
