Ford made the comments Wednesday at the premiers' summer meeting in Charlottetown, where reporters asked him about the U.S. President's looming tariff threats. His comments came after Trump announced a 50 per cent tariff on a wide range of Canadian exports, and amid disagreements between Canada and the U.S. over how to split revenue from the Gordie Howe Bridge.
