Canadian businesses prepare for 'serious hit' as Carney ends US trade talks
The new 50 per cent tariff will make it much more expensive for many Canadian businesses to export to the U.S. – adding to the pain many sectors had already been feeling. Lumber, steel and auto producers had been hopeful that tariffs would be lowered because of these talks. As Jasmine King reports, the financial impact of the trade impasse is only beginning.
