Canadian detained at U.S. border, questioned for hours about voting as permanent resident
Paige Adamson, a U.S. permanent resident and Canadian citizen, was on her way home from a birthday dinner in Tsawwassen, B.C., on Sept. 15 when she was stopped at the Point Roberts, Wash., border crossing. It was a regular stop she's used to doing, but this time she was asked if she had voted in a federal election.
