Congress immersed in dynastic politics, doesn’t respect women leaders: Haryana BJP chief
Rohtak: Haryana BJP president, Dr Archana Gupta, on Tuesday, alleged that the Congress was completely immersed in family-based and dynastic politics, which prevented dedicated party workers from receiving opportunities and recognition.Addressing mediapersons here, Archana Gupta said that despite being a Rajya Sabha member, a Congress leader's son was fielded in the Lok Sabha elections, reflecting the party's preference for family interests over party workers. She also accused the leader of the opposition in the Haryana assembly and former CM, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, of neglecting grassroots workers and promoting only his family within the party. The Haryana BJP chief further alleged that the Congress does not give due respect to women leaders. Referring to senior Congress functionary Kumari Selja, Archana Gupta claimed that she had been continuously sidelined despite her seniority and experience. She said dynastic politics had become so dominant in the Congress that there was little space left for committed workers and senior leaders. Gupta said Hooda never proposed the name of any Congress worker for the post of chief minister due to the influence of dynastic politics. On speculation regarding Selja joining the BJP, Gupta said that anyone who wishes to associate with the party's ideology was welcome. She said that the BJP was committed to women's empowerment and respected women leaders.Speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Haryana, Archana Gupta said on July 17, the PM would flag off the state's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind. She described the project as a matter of pride for both Haryana and the nation, noting that the train is based on modern zero-carbon emission technology. She said PM Modi would also address a rally in Jind and inaugurate the Kurukshetra elevated railway track, the Haryana section of the Jammu-Katra highway, the Koriawas medical college, and the Bhiwani medical college. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone of a Sikh museum in Kurukshetra, Gupta informed.MSID:: 132241184 413 |You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Chandigarh | Silver Rate in Chandigarh | Bank Holidays in Chandigarh | Public Holidays in Chandigarh | Chandigarh AQI | Weather in Chandigarh | Petrol Price in Chandigarh | Diesel Price in Chandigarh | CNG Price in Chandigarh | LPG Price in ChandigarhStay updated with the latest Chandigarh news.
