Germany should conclude an intergovernmental agreement with Ukraine on cooperation in the field of unmanned technologies. This proposal was made by Alexander Hoffmann, chairman of the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) state group in the Bundestag, in an interview with Bild am Sonntag.

Hoffmann emphasized that Berlin will continue to support Ukraine under any circumstances. According to him, thanks to this assistance, Kyiv has been able to develop cutting-edge capabilities in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, countering drones, and anti-winged missile systems.

"Germany must participate in these innovations in armaments to strengthen its own defense and deterrence capabilities," the politician said.

According to him, an intergovernmental agreement should be concluded with Kyiv, in which the Ukrainian side would commit to sharing its technological capabilities with Germany.

"We want to get Ukraine to share this with us so that we can become stronger together," said Hoffmann.
