Driver killed in crash south of Tweed
30-year-old victim from Belleville was lone person in single-vehicle collision
Ontario Provincial Police say a driver was killed when their vehicle left Highway 37 and crashed Tuesday morning.
OPP said they were called to the single-vehicle collision near Phillipston Road around 9:30 a.m.
The 30-year-old driver from Belleville was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. They did not identify the driver.
Highway 37 was closed in the area for about seven hours as part of the investigation, which OPP said is ongoing.
