Edmonton storm force evacuations at several city festivals
A Saturday evening storm forced organizers at local festivals in Edmonton to close their gates early and evacuate patrons. Taste of Edmonton in Churchill Square downtown put safety first, getting attendees to shelter as rain and thunderstorms loomed overhead. Headline acts at both The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival and Neon Skies were unable to take the stage because of the weather. Gates Guarin has the details.
