Enzo Fernandez earns Argentina World Cup call | News | Official Site
Enzo Fernandez is the latest Chelsea player heading to the World Cup, after he was selected in the final Argentina squad.
The Chelsea midfielder makes the cut of 26 players selected by Lionel Scaloni and will be part of the South American group that kicks off their campaign against Algeria on June 17.
Argentina are the current holders of the World Cup, having tasted success in 202 of which Enzo was part of.
The midfielder has 40 international caps to his name and will hope to add to those with La Albiceleste this summer.
Goalkeepers: Juan Musso, Geronimo Rulli, Emiliano Martinez.
Defenders: Leandro Balerdi, Nicolas Tagliafico, Gonzalo Montiel, Lisandro Martinez, Cristian Romero, Nicolas Otamendi, Facundo Medina, Nahuel Molina.
Midfielders: Leandro Paredes, Rodrigo De Paul, Valentin Barco, Giovani Lo Celso, Exequiel Palacios, Alexis Mac Allister, Enzo Fernandez.
Forwards: Julian Alvarez, Lionel Messi, Nicolas Gonzalez, Thiago Almada, Giuliano Simeone, Nico Paz, Lautaro Martinez.
