The free, family-friendly Encinitas Spring Street Fair event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 25-26 along South Coast Highway 101. Organized by the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association, the event features more than 450 vendors selling arts, crafts, and international food, plus several entertainment stages and a dog-friendly beer garden. The North Coast Symphony will put on a free concert, Dancing Around the World, featuring a musical journey across the globe, at 2:30 p.m. April 18 at the San Dieguito United Methodist Church. Community fest at animal shelter

The Rhoades School’s Girl Rising Club cultural bazaar

The Rhoades School’s Girl Rising Club – a middle school girls-led club that works to raise money to give girls across Guatemala, Bangladesh, and the Philippines access to education – is inviting the wider community to attend their cultural bazaar on April 24 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., located at 910 Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas. Encinitas Historical Society walking tours

The Encinitas Historical Society offers monthly walking tours of downtown Encinitas on the third Saturday of every month in 2026. The tours start at 10 a.m. leaving from the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse located at 390 West “F” Street. There is plenty of free parking nearby. On April 18, the tour will cover the north end of Coastal Encinitas from “F” to Encinitas Blvd. There is a nominal charge of $10 per person. Minor children and dogs are always free. Encinitas Historical Society is an all volunteer organization with tax exempt status and they accept all forms of payment. San Dieguito Art Guild Mother’s Day Weekend Art, Garden & Studio Tour

Eight North County properties will be open for the 29th annual Mother’s Day Weekend Art, Garden & Studio Tour to be held May 9-10. Each home offers a blend of art, architecture and distinctive gardens. Tour properties include dramatic subtropical and desert landscaping, a front yard devoted entirely to succulents, kinetic metal and mosaic art, resident goats and a stop with 17 fruit trees alongside proteas and exotic succulents. More than 30 Guild artists will exhibit and sell their work at the properties. Artwork includes paintings, ceramics, glass, gourd art, fiber arts, photography and jewelry. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Tickets: $40 per person, starting early April; children 17 and under free.
