Flipkart Ventures Backs Alive and Keploy, Supporting AI
Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of Flipkart, has revealed its support for Alive, an AI-powered platform for curated lifestyle experiences, and Keploy, a native-AI software testing platform. As part of the programme, both startups will receive capital support alongside strategic mentorship, operational expertise and access to Flipkart's broader ecosystem to help them build and scale.
Alive focuses on curated lifestyle experiences while Keploy addresses software testing - both using AI as the core of their product proposition:
Alive – A curated experiences platform that uses an AI-powered stack to design, build and distribute experiences across India. The platform has 500+ live experiences across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai and Goa.
Keploy – An open-source continuous verification platform that converts real application traffic into replayable regression tests and digital twin sandboxes. Enterprises use Keploy to reproduce production scenarios locally and in CI/CD for mission critical scenarios, helping engineering teams detect regressions in new releases and AI-generated code earlier in the development lifecycle.
Nishant Verman, SVP, corporate development and partnerships, Flipkart, said, “India’s startup ecosystem continues to produce founders who are using technology to solve real-world problems and build new consumer experiences. Alive and Keploy reflect this ambition, with differentiated ideas and a clear vision for growth. Through Flipkart Ventures, we bring mentorship, operational expertise and access to Flipkart’s ecosystem to help early stage companies strengthen their foundations and scale. We look forward to working closely with both teams as they build the next phase of their businesses.”
Vivek Kumar, founder, Alive, said, "At Alive, we are building the infrastructure layer for this category through our AI-powered stack that builds and distributes experiences at scale. Flipkart Ventures brings us consumer-scale distribution thinking and operating depth we would otherwise take years to build. We are excited to work with the Flipkart teams as more Indians choose to spend on doing things rather than owning them."
Neha Gupta and Shubham Jain, founders, Keploy, said, “Flipkart Ventures’ backing is especially meaningful because this partnership goes beyond capital. Working with Flipkart’s engineering teams at production scale, combined with their mentorship and ecosystem, will help us accelerate our vision of making continuous verification effortless for developers and AI agents everywhere.”
Flipkart Ventures backs early-stage Indian tech startups across e-commerce adjacencies, AI, consumer internet, fintech and logistics-tech, having already funded over 20 startups. Selected startups gain direct access to Flipkart leadership for strategic mentorship in business, product, technology, and finance to refine their business models and scale. Portfolio startups can also access Flipkart's broader ecosystem for strategic integrations. Flipkart Ventures has signed an MoU with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade to invest in, support, and empower technology startups across India.
