Gas down nearly 4 cents per litre across N.L.
The price of gas, diesel and home heating fuels have dropped across Newfoundland and Labrador on Saturday.
The Public Utilities Board lowered the maximum price of gas by 3.9 cents per litre. The change puts gas on the Avalon Peninsula at $1.84 per litre, with prices ranging between $1.84 and $1.99 per litre across the rest of the island.
In Labrador, maximum prices range between $1.48 and $1.94 per litre.
The price of diesel dropped by 7.9 cents per litre across Newfoundland and in Labrador West and Churchill Falls.
Furnace and stove oil decreased by the same amount across the province — just over 6.8 cents per litre.
The PUB is continuing pricing adjustments driven by market fluctuations and the war in the Middle East. The next adjustment is scheduled for Tuesday.
