Goldman Sachs, Intel Back Higgsfield in $400M Raise at $5.4B Valuation
AI video startup Higgsfield AI has raised $400 million in new funding at a $5.4 billion valuation, more than quadrupling its valuation in eight months amid accelerating investor interest in generative video.
Goldman Sachs and Intel are among the major investors in the financing, alongside DST Global and Liberty Global, according to the Financial Times. Tribe Capital, Smash Capital, Fifth Wall and NTT DOCOMO Ventures also participated.
The latest financing represents a sharp jump from Higgsfield’s $1.3 billion valuation earlier this year, when the company raised $80 million. The startup had also announced a $130 million Series A financing in January.
Founded by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield launched its AI video platform in 2025 with a focus on making generative video tools accessible to creative professionals, marketers and social media creators.
The company has grown rapidly alongside the broader adoption of AI-generated video. Higgsfield reached $700 million in annualized revenue in August, compared with roughly $20 million a year earlier, according to the Financial Times.
Higgsfield’s platform is designed for uses including advertising, social media, music videos and commercial filmmaking. Rather than relying exclusively on a single underlying video model, the company brings together video-generation tools and adds its own creative workflow and interface on top.
The platform had attracted more than 15 million users by early 2026, with musicians and entertainers including Snoop Dogg, Madonna and Will Smith reported among its users.
Higgsfield is competing in an increasingly crowded AI video market that includes startups such as Runway and Synthesia, as investors bet that generative AI will reshape video production for advertisers, filmmakers and enterprises.
The new $5.4 billion valuation underscores the speed at which capital is flowing into AI application companies that can demonstrate both rapid user adoption and revenue growth.
