Greece’s Mount Olympus vies for UNESCO world heritage site status
Mount Olympus, the mythological home of ancient Greece's 12 Olympian gods, may soon join UNESCO's World Heritage List. Greeks hope the mountain's blend of myth, culture and natural beauty will secure it a place when the World Heritage Committee meets in South Korea starting Sunday.
