Hinton town council is considering adjusting its cap on short-term rentals as the town attempts to balance a growing tourism economy with a tight housing market. An all-party committee has agreed to spend $450,000 to redraw Alberta's electoral boundaries map to account for population growth. The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission says licenced bars, restaurants and other establishments can now serve alcohol as early as 6 a.m.
