India Gets $136 Billion. Can It Win Diaspora Trust to Invest?
Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan were reportedly struck on Monday, according to the Financial Times, opening another potentially dangerous front in the regional energy conflict. The extent of the damage remains under assessment. Saudi authorities and Aramco have not confirmed the reported attack, and responsibility has not been established. Jizan’s refinery can process approximately 400,000 barrels of crude per day and lies close to Yemen. The report pushed US crude back above $90 as markets assessed simultaneous threats to Saudi shipping and energy infrastructure around the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb and Strait of Hormuz.
