Investigation after boy stabbed at skate park

Police have launched an investigation after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed at a skate park in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said it happened at the skate park on Farnborough Road in Clifton shortly before 17:25 BST on Sunday.

The boy was taken to hospital with injuries "not described as life-threatening or life-altering in nature", the force added.

Detectives are now working to locate two suspects - described as white males and about 5ft 10ins tall - who left the scene on a black motorcycle.

Det Insp Lisa Jones said: "We are working hard to track down the people responsible for this assault and are currently pursuing a number of lines of inquiry.

"To this end, we would like to hear from any additional witnesses who saw or heard any part of this incident."
