On the 16th, CEO Jung met with eight startup leaders at SKT Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul, listened closely to the challenges they faced while driving their businesses, and exchanged ideas for mutual growth.

This meeting was held to hear voices directly from the startup field during the cultivation and collaboration process and to explore ways to increase synergy.

The eight participating startups were Mesaquo Company, Coaxwave, Conexi, Stress Solution, Sierabase, Devall Company, Aim Intelligence, and MPWave.

SKT employees leading joint projects with these startups also attended, sharing collaboration cases and commercialization ideas.

Songhyun Kim, CEO of Sierabase, which offers drone-based AI infrastructure safety assessment solutions, said, "We are working with SKT in the area of small autonomous drones to automate telecommunications tower safety inspections, which previously required manual work. This collaboration will not only help advance the technology but also allow us to identify real-world business models."

CEO Jung responded, "By combining startups' technologies and ideas with SKT's AI, infrastructure, and marketing capabilities, we can create new business opportunities and value for the AI era."

Since 2013, SKT has been running programs to discover and support startups, and this year launched a startup collaboration platform named 'Sketch.' The platform provides expert mentoring, opportunities to partner with SKT, domestic and international exhibition participation, and support for attracting investment.

SKT aims to foster 500 innovative companies over the next five years by 2030.

CEO Jung added, "Startups are key partners for SKT as we pursue new business opportunities and success stories in the AI era. We will continue to listen to field voices and connect our strengths to expand practical collaborations that drive real growth."
