Kalba Launches Artificial Intelligence Week

The launch was attended by Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Darmaki, Board Member and secretary-general of the Club; Abdullah Ali Al Balushi, Board Member and Director of Individual Games; and Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Board Member and Head of the Programme's Organising Committee. Learning, robotics and sport Artificial Intelligence Week brings together a series of educational, practical and sporting programmes designed to build participants' skills in innovation and AI. The week includes specialised workshops, a mobile robotics programme, hands-on activities and field visits to the Kalba Youth Centre, linking theory to practical application. Activities so far have included a workshop titled "Explore Your Future Identity in 2050", delivered by SYNERGY MIND Academy and focused on creative thinking and future-scoping skills. Alongside it, the week has featured sporting events, including laser run, table tennis, volleyball and basketball, as well as chess competitions and workshops on designing and building space models. Bin Huwaiden: UAE's innovation drive Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Head of the Programme's Organising Committee, said Artificial Intelligence Week reflects Kalba Club's commitment to keeping pace with the UAE's push to spread a culture of innovation and prepare a generation equipped with future skills through integrated programmes that combine education, entertainment and practical application. He added that the programme has drawn strong engagement from participants and parents, reflecting its success in meeting its educational and community goals and reinforcing the club's role in supporting national initiatives aimed at building a knowledge-based society capable of keeping pace with technological change.
