Regarding: Letter from Harleen Dhindsa, ‘Health care has not kept up with Surrey’s growth‘ (online)

Harleen is correct to be concerned about the state of health care in Surrey. It is a problem in all of Canada.

The federal government has seriously reduced its contributions. They make excuses such as the U.S. tariffs and the “uncertainty of our future economic health.” However, they saw fit to cancel the increase in taxes on capital gains over $200,000 dollars. That is $35.7 billion annually that they will not collect. They will probably spend $30 billion on a pipeline and $10 billion on a port, mostly for the benefit of foreign billionaires.
