Major incident leaves police unable to take calls
Norfolk Police has said it cannot handle non-emergency calls while it deals with a "major incident".
However, in a post on X on Sunday morning, the force did not give any detail about what the incident was and later deleted it.
Norfolk residents were speculating online as to what the incident might be.
The force asked people to follow a link to its website for "more information about the incident" but the site did not have any further details.
It also asked people to report non-urgent matters via its website before the post appeared to be taken down.
The BBC has contacted the police force for more information.
