Man arrested after fleeing police over shooting
A man has been arrested at a hotel in West Yorkshire in connection with a shooting.
Police investigating the incident on Friar Place in Huddersfield on Tuesday attended the Ramada hotel in Silkwood Park, Wakefield, on Friday afternoon.
A 20-year-old man from Huddersfield initially fled from police but fell and was injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment and arrested on suspicion of firearm offences.
West Yorkshire Police said three other men were arrested earlier this week in connection to the incident, in which nobody was harmed but a building was damaged.
Two men, aged 18 and 23, both from Huddersfield, were arrested on Wednesday.
A 19-year-old, also from Huddersfield, was arrested on Thursday. All three were all arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and have been released under investigation or bail.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
