A 44-year-old Ottawa man faces numerous charges after he allegedly attacked several police officers and security guards at the Escapade Music Festival.
The man was intoxicated when he assaulted three Ottawa Police Service (OPS) officers and a pair of security guards at the electronic music festival, police said in a social media post Saturday.
Two of the three officers ended up in hospital, OPS said. They are expected to make a full recovery.
The man faces six charges, police said, including for assaulting a peace officer and causing bodily harm.
One of the largest electronic dance music festivals in Canada, Escapade is taking place all weekend on the grounds of the RA Centre.
