Man killed in Montreal's Sud-Ouest borough
This marks 13th homicide in Montreal this year
A 42-year-old man is dead following an altercation on Monk Boulevard near Pierre-Héroux Street on Wednesday night.
Montreal police say they responded to calls of an injured man in a residential neighbourhood in the Sud-Ouest borough at 11:45 p.m. The man was transported to hospital with critical injuries, but succumbed to them early Thursday morning.
This marks the 13th homicide on the island of Montreal in 2026.
Police say the weapon used in the altercation is unknown at this time and suspects fled before officers arrived on scene. No arrests have been made.
Police will continue investigating.
