MegazoneCloud recruits companies for AWS Space Accelerator: Korea 2026
AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said it is recruiting Korean space and satellite startups to take part in AWS Space Accelerator: Korea 2026, in cooperation with Amazon Web Services, or AWS, and the Korea Aerospace Administration.
AWS Space Accelerator provides cloud technology and business mentoring to support startups' technology development capabilities and business growth in the space industry.
This year's programme will select 15 to 20 Korean startups in areas including satellite manufacturing and operations, earth observation, launch vehicles, in-orbit services, space communications, AI for space and space software. Korea-based startups from the early stage to pre-Series B that plan to develop space systems based on AWS can apply. Selected companies will be offered cloud and AI technology sessions, hands-on labs, business coaching and networking opportunities with investors and industry officials.
Applications are open until Oct. 2 and can be submitted through the MegazoneCloud tech blog, Aiting. MegazoneCloud, as a partner, will support overall programme operations, including onboarding, hands-on labs and one-on-one technical mentoring with experts.
MegazoneCloud CEO Dong-hoon Yum (염동훈) said the company will support Korean space and satellite startups so they can use cloud and AI technologies to strengthen their technological competitiveness and link that to actual business growth. He said he hopes the programme will serve as an opportunity for promising startups to connect with investors, customers and the industry ecosystem and grow into domestic and overseas markets.
