Near-zero visibility prompts fog advisory for Hamilton area
Environment Canada is warning drivers in Hamilton, Burlington, to slow down Sunday morning
Drivers in Hamilton and Halton area are being warned to slow down Sunday morning as dense fog reduces visibility to near zero in some areas.
Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the City of Hamilton and Burlington-Oakville. It warns that visibility could suddenly drop at times before conditions improve later in the day.
The weather agency says the fog is creating hazardous driving conditions for the morning commute, with some areas seeing near-zero visibility.
Drivers are being urged to turn on their lights, slow down and leave extra space between vehicles.
