New Bedford City Council becomes unruly as Flock technology discussed
NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - A New Bedford City Council meeting became unruly Thursday night as fallout continues over the alleged misuse of Flock camera technology by police.
The meeting was stopped after people in the gallery shouted as councilors tried to speak.
City officials paused the use of Flock cameras, which record license plates, after the police chief called for a review.
New Bedford Police Officer Emily Pacheco was suspended pending an internal affairs investigation after she was accused of tracking her ex-girlfriend using Flock data.
