New Paradigm to Recruit Promising Startups for the 2027 "TIPS for All Startup Challenge"

"Up to 5 Billion Won in Value-Up Support for Promising Early-Stage Companies"

New Paradigm Investment (hereafter referred to as New Paradigm), a subsidiary of TS Investment, a Kosdaq-listed venture capital (VC) firm, announced on the 1st that it will host the 2027 "TIPS for All Startup Challenge," an integrated support program linked to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS and Deep Tech TIPS initiatives. The company will be recruiting participating companies until September 30 next month.

New Paradigm is a specialized accelerator (AC) that has achieved a 98% acceptance rate among the 49 companies it recommended for the TIPS program. Through the "New Paradigm Baby Unicorn Growth Program," it has supported early-stage companies with sustainable capital sourcing and business expansion.

This recruitment process is divided into two tracks according to the level of validation. The general track targets companies that have completed proof of concept (PoC), secured objective metrics, have been established within four years and six months, and have a corporate value of less than 5 billion won (sectors include AI, SaaS, content, platforms, etc.). The deep tech track selects startups with a corporate value of less than 10 billion won that have already received a "completion" designation in the general TIPS program (sectors include AI, big data, robotics, digital healthcare, etc.). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the official website, and results are provided within one week after submission of application documents.

Selected companies will receive, pending internal review, up to 500 million won in initial investment, up to 1 billion won in follow-on investment, and over 2 billion won in connected investment. In addition, with government support, the general TIPS program offers up to 800 million won, the deep tech TIPS program up to 1.5 billion won in R&D funding, and up to 300 million won in additional project funding, bringing the total direct and indirect scaling-up capital support available per team to as much as 5 billion won. Non-financial developmental benefits will also be provided, including regular networking with peer companies, AI automation, and tailored growth strategy consulting.

Baek Sangseung, Co-CEO of New Paradigm Investment, stated, "For innovative startups to break through the stagnant venture market environment and achieve growth, a solid technological foundation, timely capital supply, and the systemization of advanced business models are essential." He added, "We aim to drive stable growth for promising startups by leveraging close business cooperation among our portfolio companies and providing customized scaling-up infrastructure."
