The 2027 Northwest Arkansas Outstanding Business Awards program includes five categories and an award for a Northwest Arkansas business leader who has contributed to the region’s growth. The Business Impact Award is open to business leaders who live and work in Northwest Arkansas or the Fort Smith metro area.

The awards recognition program will have 25 finalists and five winners in the categories of small business, medium business, large business, startups and nonprofits. The small category is for businesses with 50 or less employees. The medium category is for businesses that have 51 to 200 employees. The large category is for businesses with 201 or more employees. The startups category is for businesses that were established less than two years ago.

The 25 finalists — five per category — and the winner of the Business Impact Award will be selected by an independent panel of judges and will be featured in the Business Journal on March 8. The five winners — also determined by our judges’ panel — will be announced at a luncheon on March 9 at the Holiday Inn in Springdale. The Business Impact Award winner will also be honored at the luncheon.
