OnAir Solutions to Represent MultiDyne in Australia

OnAir Solutions has announced its appointment as the Australian distributor for MultiDyne Video & Fibre Optic Systems, bringing one of the broadcast industry’s most respected names in fibre transport, signal conversion and media infrastructure to the Australian market.

For more than four decades, MultiDyne has delivered fibre-optic transport systems, signal conversion technologies and mission-critical infrastructure solutions trusted by television networks, sports venues, live production organisations, government agencies and enterprise customers worldwide.

According to OnAir Solutions, the partnership strengthens its commitment to providing Australian broadcasters, media organisations and systems integrators with access to best-in-class technology backed by local engineering expertise, deployment support and ongoing technical assistance.

MultiDyne’s portfolio includes a range of fibre transport systems supporting video, audio, data, Ethernet, intercom, RF and timing signals across studio, remote production and contribution workflows. The company’s solutions are trusted by major broadcasters and production organisations globally for applications ranging from fixed broadcast facilities to large-scale sporting events and outside broadcasts.

As broadcasters continue their transition towards IP, remote production and increasingly distributed workflows, reliable transport infrastructure remains a critical component of modern media operations. MultiDyne’s flexible architecture enables organisations to extend and interconnect facilities while maintaining the performance, reliability and signal integrity required in mission-critical environments.

“We’re incredibly pleased to represent the MultiDyne brand in Australia. Having already worked with MultiDyne solutions on significant projects, including deployments for the Sydney Opera House, delivered in partnership with Lemac, and a major global social media platform, we’ve seen first-hand the performance, reliability and flexibility the technology delivers.

According to Paul Dengate, Managing Director, OnAir Solutions, “MultiDyne has built an outstanding reputation for solving complex signal transport challenges in some of the world’s most demanding broadcast environments. As facilities continue to adopt IP, remote production and hybrid operational models, MultiDyne provides the kind of proven, scalable infrastructure that engineers can trust. We’re looking forward to introducing more Australian customers to the platform and supporting deployments locally through our engineering and project delivery teams.”

This appointment represents a natural extension of the long-standing relationship between OnAir Solutions and MultiDyne. Over recent years, OnAir Solutions has worked with MultiDyne technologies across several significant deployments, including projects for the Sydney Opera House, delivered in partnership with Lemac, and a major global social media platform where robust, high-performance signal transport infrastructure was a critical requirement.

The appointment also coincides with MultiDyne’s continued expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting broadcasters, production organisations, systems integrators and enterprise customers across APAC.

A key part of this expansion is the recent appointment of Alex Collins, who has joined MultiDyne to lead regional business development and customer engagement activities throughout Asia-Pacific.

Working alongside the OnAir Solutions team, Alex will support Australian customers through product demonstrations, solution design discussions, project consultation and industry engagement activities.

He will also be available for customer visits, major industry trade shows and partner events throughout Australia, providing local access to MultiDyne expertise and helping organisations evaluate future broadcast and media infrastructure projects.

“Australia continues to be one of the most important broadcast and media technology markets in the Asia-Pacific region,” says Collins. “Through our partnership with OnAir Solutions, we’re strengthening our ability to support customers locally with both technical expertise and responsive project engagement. Their reputation for engineering excellence and customer support makes them an ideal partner as we continue expanding MultiDyne’s presence throughout APAC.”

“OnAir Solutions has demonstrated a deep understanding of the broadcast, media and communications markets, supported by a strong track record of delivering technically complex projects,” added Sebastian Mucha, Executive VP of Sales & Strategy, MultiDyne Video & Fibre Optic Systems EU. “Formalising this relationship represents a natural next step for both organisations and strengthens our ability to serve customers throughout Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.”

Through the new distribution agreement, Australian customers will gain access to:
