OneByZero raises US$20 mil Series A led by Jungle Ventures to scale enterprise AI across Asia Pacific
OneByZero (OBZ), a Singapore-headquartered frontier AI deployment company, has raised US$20 million (RM82 million) in Series A funding led by Jungle Ventures, marking the company’s first external funding.
The funding will support OBZ’s expansion across its nine existing markets and into Japan, where it plans to build a local team. It will also fund expansion into conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector, as well as further investment in NEO and AI Coworkers, including industry templates and support for enterprises building their own AI using open-weight and small language models.
Over the past three years, OBZ has deployed AI inside some of the region’s largest and most regulated enterprises across financial services, telecommunications and retail, and has more than doubled its revenue each year. As a frontier AI deployment company, OBZ works directly with enterprise teams to identify where AI can create value, build it into existing business systems and workflows, and continue improving it once it is in production.
“Every enterprise can now get access to powerful AI,” said Niket Vaidya, CEO and co-founder of OneByZero. “The value comes when it runs inside the systems that run the business, under the company’s own rules, and gets better every week. That is the work we do every day, and this funding lets us do more of it, in more markets and more industries.”
OBZ claims its deployments are already helping enterprises automate more than 90% of some customer-facing interactions, deliver measurable cost savings and accelerate the delivery of complex data modernisation by 50%.
The company’s model combines forward-deployed engineers working alongside customer teams to identify where AI can create value, build and deploy systems, and then stay involved to run and improve them. Its teams work with local knowledge of regulators, languages and enterprise systems, while AI Coworkers — governed AI agents with defined roles and controls — handle high-volume work and people retain judgement and accountability.
Every engagement runs on NEO, OBZ’s AI deployment platform and control layer for enterprise AI workforces. Reusable components and built-in governance, including a record of every agent action, are designed to make each deployment faster and safer than the last.
“We have built NEO so companies can define what AI is allowed to do, where human judgement is required and how every system is governed. That foundation lets them introduce more capable AI without losing control,” said Vibhore Kumar, PhD, CTO and co-founder of OneByZero.
“OneByZero stood out because it is already doing what much of the enterprise AI market is still talking about,” said Yash Sankrityayan, managing partner, Jungle Ventures. “The team has spent three years deploying AI inside large, complex organisations and delivering measurable results. We believe that puts OneByZero in a strong position as more enterprises across Asia Pacific and Japan move AI from experimentation into their core operations.”
