Ottawa man dies after crashing pickup truck near Kaladar, Ont.
Collision happened near Highway 41 and Highway 7
A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck near Kaladar, Ont.
The collision happened around 3 p.m. Friday near the area of Highway 41 and Highway 7, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
OPP said the 64-year-old driver from Ottawa was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Highway 41 was closed in both directions between Highway 7 and Flinton Road for about four hours Friday afternoon but has since reopened, police say.
Kaladar is approximately 160 kilometres southwest of downtown Ottawa.
