Pashinyan visits Eleveight AI factory as Armenia expands artificial intelligence infrastructure
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Eleveight AI artificial intelligence factory in Gagarin, Gegharkunik Province, which is the first AI factory in Armenia and the South Caucasus powered by NVIDIA Blackwell B300 technology.
According to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office, Pashinyan toured the facility and was briefed on the technical capabilities of the data center, the current stage of its expansion, and upcoming projects.
The investment program for the first phase amounts to $150 million, of which approximately $70 million has already been invested.
The facility’s infrastructure is designed to support large-scale artificial intelligence computing, ranging from AI model training to business, scientific, and engineering applications. The capacity of the factory’s first phase is 5 MW, which is planned to increase to 40 MW in the next phase of expansion. Just one month after its launch, the available capacity was fully reserved, reflecting demand from Armenia and international markets.
As a result of the MoU on an innovative partnership in the fields of artificial intelligence and semiconductors signed between the governments of Armenia and the United States on August 8, 2025, authorization was granted for the export of NVIDIA Blackwell B300 graphics processors.
On June 1, Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Eleveight AI signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing Armenia’s artificial intelligence ecosystem, promoting innovation, building capacity, and supporting applied AI programs.
During the visit, the prospects for the development of AI infrastructure in Armenia were also discussed.
