Petitioners challenge Elections Alberta’s verification process
After being rejected in early July, supporters of the 'Water Not Coal' petition has launched a legal challenge against Elections Alberta. As the CBC's Tristan Mottershead reports, they're questioning the signature verification process. They're not the only campaign behind a petition to do so.
