Pilot taken to hospital after air show incident
A pilot has been taken to hospital following an incident at an air show.
Shuttleworth, in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, said an incident involving an aircraft and pilot happened on the south end of the airfield during the Wings and Wheels Air Show on Saturday.
In a statement, it said: "The pilot in question has now been extracted from the scene, given a thumbs up, and been taken to hospital."
The attraction, that features both a museum and working airfield, said it would be closed on Sunday following the incident.
Shuttleworth said it had been producing air shows for 60 years.
The Wings and Wheels Air Show was due to take place between 09:00 BST and 21:00 and featured two flying displays during the day.
