PM Modi Meets Indian Diaspora in Seychelles, Praises Their Contribution to India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met members of the Indian diaspora in Seychelles during his official visit, describing the community as a vital link between India and the island nation while appreciating their contribution to strengthening bilateral ties.

During his visit, Modi also held discussions with the leadership of Seychelles aimed at deepening cooperation in areas including maritime security, trade, development partnership, healthcare, capacity building and the blue economy. India and Seychelles share close strategic and historical ties, particularly in the Indian Ocean region, with cooperation spanning defence, infrastructure, renewable energy, education and people-to-people exchanges.
