Provincial nominees receive invitations to apply for permanent residence

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.

The immigration department issued 562 ITAs in a draw for Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination.

The latest PNP draw featured a cutoff score 63 points below the previous round. It also marked the lowest PNP cutoff of 2026.

This most recent selection round represents IRCC’s 50th Express Entry draw of the year.

So far in 2026, Express Entry selections have leaned toward candidates who are already established in Canada in some capacity, including provincial nominees and workers with experience in the Canadian labour market.
