RCMP issues shelter-in
RCMP in Fort Smith, Alta., have issued a shelter-in-place order as they search for an armed male suspect.
They say he is wanted in connection with a firearms incident at a local business, and locals are asked to stay inside and not open the door for anyone.
Mounties have released a picture of the suspect, a dark-haired man with a short beard wearing a grey sweater.
Police also request residents follow all directions from responding officers.
Also, they are asking people to refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media.
However, if anyone has information relating to the suspect or incident, police have launched a Community Portal to publicly collect digital evidence from witnesses.
